Cornell Rescuer is an app developed by the Cornell Student Assembly Tech Committee to enhance safety on campus for students and faculty. Rescuers drop-dead simple interface puts users no more than 2 taps away to respond to nearly any emergency.

NEW: Blue Light + Bus Stop Map

Rescuer finds the closest Blue Light to your current location, an emergency resource that summons the police to your location immediately. Whether you feel apprehensive, confused, or are in an emergency situation, the phones are available 24 / 7 for the Cornell community. You can also view bus stops around Tompkins County.

- Quick, Fast, Simple -

The app includes quick access to Cornell Police, Ithaca Police (911), or Cayuga Medical Center. If you need to get somewhere, you can call a taxi or find out information about Big Red Shuttle, Cornells late-night bus service. You can also contact your close friends, call a taxi, and get directions to your home. Each of these actions can be accessed right from your home screen with 3D Touch shortcuts.

Rescuer contains Cornells custom Emergency Guide, complete with detailed instructions of how to handle nearly any emergency situation, from violence and crime to fires and hazardous materials.
